The Elder Fuhark Runic alphabet consists of 24 characters and was used by the early Norse people. The Helm of Awe, or (Old Norse Ægishjálmr, pronounced “EYE-gis-hiowlm-er”), is a Norse Mythological symbol used to protect a warrior and help them prevail in battle. It also induced fear and terror in the enemy. It is one of the Norse Sigils/Staves (symbols) used in magic spells.
